Chamber Involvement in the Community

Community Welcome Signs - Announcing Aurora's local service clubs to incoming visitors, your Chamber maintains and sponsors four welcoming signboards at the major entrances to the town.

High School Award - The Chamber provides each of the Aurora High Schools with an annual award. This presentation is made for outstanding academic achievement, based upon the Chamber's criteria.

Business & Education Partnership - Partnerships in Business and Education. One of the most important benefits is that our education and business communities develop greater dialogue, from which each can gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the other. The Ontario Venture Program assists the Chamber in spearheading responsive Business Seminars and encourages local students to participate with private enterprise for mutual gain.

Student & Youth Venture Program - In conjunction with the Government of Ontario and the Royal Bank of Canada, the Chamber provides students with counselling on starting a new business and is instrumental in providing interest-free loans to help start and operate them. This program offers young people an excellent opportunity to acquire business knowledge.
