The excellent meal was provided by The Roving Chef. 

Students from Aurora High School, Dr. G. W. Williams Secondary School, ESC Rennaissance French School, St. Andrew's College, St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic High School, and Queen's University attended with their sponsors and were given an introduction to our local business community.

Bob Abrames was an engaging speaker, at one point nearly setting off the sprinklers when shwoing how to start a fire with flint and steel. He was available for questions and autographs afterward.

On Sunday April 18th we are excited to be hosting the Second Annual "Runway to Spring" fundraising fashion event. 

This year the event will be held at The Country Day School in King and we couldn’t be more pleased to be involved with this incredible facility.

With your help, York Region will once again experience a true "Red Carpet" fashion event complete with…
  • a fashion show featuring designer lines including lines from our of local businesses
  • samplings from Ontario Wines and Breweries
  • tastings from some of Aurora/King’s finest restaurants & caterers
  • Raffle prizes
  • Silent Auction
  • Private After-Party featuring live music
Last year’s event was a huge success largely due to our generous sponsors. We were able to meet our goal and raise $12,600.00 to send six York Region children to camp.

We’re raising the bar this year and are hoping to send ten children to an Easter Seals speciality camp through the Easter Seals "Send A Kid To Camp" program. 

For every $2,100 we can raise, one disabled child will experience a summer to remember forever. Every one of the 22 Easter Seals camps are fully accessible and are designed to ensure that every child, no matter the disability, has the support they need to have the times of their lives, gain confidence and a sense of independence. Every one of the 6,000 children who get the opportunity to attend these camps every summer have the opportunity to challenge themselves and cultivate meaningful friendships that can change their lives forever.

Each attendee will experience the Red Carpet treatment. Guests will experience an array of tasting tables where Ontario wineries and local restaurants and caterers have joined forces to create a culinary experience worthy of such an event. Tables displaying silent auction and raffle prizes from dozens of local businesses and artisans will be available for viewing and bidding. The highlight is an incredible fashion show featuring designer lines ranging from everyday street wear to active and evening wear. Top it off with swag bags and an exciting after party featuring a live band and it will be an event to remember.
