Poor or absent planning is one of the leading underlying causes for failure of small-to-medium sized businesses, (oSME'so) throughout the world. Incredibly, more than 80% of SME's have no (formal) Business Development Plan. What planning exists is often ad hoc, and all in the owner's head. <br />

While ...gut feelo and intuition are very critical success factors for SME owners, most acknowledge the importance and value of having a formal, written down plan, and in using it as an ...operating manualo for their business. However many of those same owners believe that developing and implementing such a plan is complex and difficult. <br />

<br />

It doesn't have to be....the best business plans are concise, clear, and easy to understand. They provide a comprehensive, ...livingo document the business owner can rely upon to keep his business growing, profitable, and on track. And they are much faster and easier to prepare than you might think. <br />

...Demystifying the Business Plano will provide an overview of basic strategic and developmental business planning concepts and approaches. It will present the steps and components of business planning in a simple, understandable way, and provide guidance as to how any business owner or leader might move forward with building a plan, without having to spend hours each week researching, analysing and writing, when business already takes up all their time.</p><br />

<b>BOOTH Allocation<br />

</b>In order to ensure the proper exhibitor mix, the Chamber reserves the right to co-ordinate Booth locations and, at our discretion, to limit the number of exhibitors in any one category and to refuse entry. <b>We also reserve the right to remove any products that have not been previously listed on your application form.</b> Failure to comply with Chamber and facility rules, outstanding balances or issues contrary to the Code of Conduct as outlined on the back of the Exhibitor Contract may affect your acceptance into the show.<br />

Sale of Booths to Chamber Members<br />

</b>The Aurora Chamber of Commerce will commence selling exhibitor booths to Chamber Members at <b>8:30 a.m.</b> on <b>Tuesday, October 19th, 2010</b>. Exhibitor booths for the Show will be sold on a <b>first come, first served basis </b>to <b>Chamber Members in Good Standing </b>(in person only).<br />

<b>Sale of Booths to Non-Chamber Members</b><br />

We will commence selling exhibitors booth(s) to Non- Chamber Members on <b>Monday, November 8th, 2010</b>, <b>on a first come, first served basis</b>. We encourage you to take advantage of the benefits of membership in the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.<br />

<br />

Please be aware of the following guidelines regarding the sale of booths and table spaces:<br />

<br />

    Registration will only be accepted if accompanied by a <b>50% deposit, plus a post-dated cheque or credit card payment dated February 15th, 2011</b> for the balance.<br />

    On Tuesday, October 19th, 2010, one person can only reserve exhibitor booth(s) on behalf of one company.<br />

    Exhibitors must maintain their own third party liability protection. <b>Also, we require a 3rd party liability insurance certificate from each exhibitor in the amount of $1 million</b>, naming the Aurora Chamber of Commerce as co-insured. <b>Please ensure that this certificate accompanies your application for booth space.</b><br />

    <b>No member will be allowed to sign up if annual fees, which are due, have not been paid</b>. It is understood that members who are billed between January 1st and March 31st, 2010, will honour their membership fee BEFORE the opening of the Show on April 15th, 2011.<br />

Drapes, Electricity, Tables, Chairs &amp; Carpeting</b><br />

Draperies and one <b>110 volt (max. 15 amp) electrical outlet will be provided for all indoor exhibits</b>. If your electrical requirements are <b>different </b>than specified, kindly contact Greg Maltby at Maltby Electric (416) 989-2244 to make the necessary arrangements <i><b>at your own cost</b>.</i> Extension cords <i><b>are not provided</b></i>. All electrical equipment must be CSA approved. Carpeting, chairs and tables for your booth are not provided by the Chamber. You may rent these from <b>RVS Exhibitional Draperies Inc</b>. An information sheet will be provided to you at a later date. Marketplace booths are provided with a 6' skirted table.<br />

<b>Set-Up and Use of Loading Doors<br />

</b>Set-up for most exhibitors will begin on Thursday, April 14th, 2011. Advance notice of a specific date and time for your booth move-in will be sent to you. <b><i>This time is for use of the loading doors only.</i></b> We appreciate your compliance with the date and time that you have been assigned. If there is a conflict, please let our office know (905-727-7262) and we will try to make alternate arrangements. However, all booths must be assembled by 12 noon, Friday, April 15th, 2011, as the show opens at 2 p.m.<br />

<b>Smoking</b><br />

The existing ...<b>No Smoking</b>o ban will be enforced. Both arenas at the Community Centre are <b>NO SMOKING FACILITIES</b>.]]></description>

<b>BOOTH Allocation<br />

</b>In order to ensure the proper exhibitor mix, the Chamber reserves the right to co-ordinate Booth locations and, at our discretion, to limit the number of exhibitors in any one category and to refuse entry. <b>We also reserve the right to remove any products that have not been previously listed on your application form.</b> Failure to comply with Chamber and facility rules, outstanding balances or issues contrary to the Code of Conduct as outlined on the back of the Exhibitor Contract may affect your acceptance into the show.<br />

<b><br />

Sale of Booths to Chamber Members<br />

</b>The Aurora Chamber of Commerce will commence selling exhibitor booths to Chamber Members at <b>8:30 a.m.</b> on <b>Tuesday, October 19th, 2010</b>. Exhibitor booths for the Show will be sold on a <b>first come, first served basis </b>to <b>Chamber Members in Good Standing </b>(in person only).<br />

<br />

<b>Sale of Booths to Non-Chamber Members</b><br />

We will commence selling exhibitors booth(s) to Non- Chamber Members on <b>Monday, November 8th, 2010</b>, <b>on a first come, first served basis</b>. We encourage you to take advantage of the benefits of membership in the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.<br />

<br />

Please be aware of the following guidelines regarding the sale of booths and table spaces:<br />

<br />

    Registration will only be accepted if accompanied by a <b>50% deposit, plus a post-dated cheque or credit card payment dated February 15th, 2011</b> for the balance.<br />

    On Tuesday, October 19th, 2010, one person can only reserve exhibitor booth(s) on behalf of one company.<br />

    Exhibitors must maintain their own third party liability protection. <b>Also, we require a 3rd party liability insurance certificate from each exhibitor in the amount of $1 million</b>, naming the Aurora Chamber of Commerce as co-insured. <b>Please ensure that this certificate accompanies your application for booth space.</b><br />

    <b>No member will be allowed to sign up if annual fees, which are due, have not been paid</b>. It is understood that members who are billed between January 1st and March 31st, 2010, will honour their membership fee BEFORE the opening of the Show on April 15th, 2011.<br />

Drapes, Electricity, Tables, Chairs &amp; Carpeting</b><br />

Draperies and one <b>110 volt (max. 15 amp) electrical outlet will be provided for all indoor exhibits</b>. If your electrical requirements are <b>different </b>than specified, kindly contact Greg Maltby at Maltby Electric (416) 989-2244 to make the necessary arrangements <i><b>at your own cost</b>.</i> Extension cords <i><b>are not provided</b></i>. All electrical equipment must be CSA approved. Carpeting, chairs and tables for your booth are not provided by the Chamber. You may rent these from <b>RVS Exhibitional Draperies Inc</b>. An information sheet will be provided to you at a later date. Marketplace booths are provided with a 6' skirted table.<br />

<b>Set-Up and Use of Loading Doors<br />

</b>Set-up for most exhibitors will begin on Thursday, April 14th, 2011. Advance notice of a specific date and time for your booth move-in will be sent to you. <b><i>This time is for use of the loading doors only.</i></b> We appreciate your compliance with the date and time that you have been assigned. If there is a conflict, please let our office know (905-727-7262) and we will try to make alternate arrangements. However, all booths must be assembled by 12 noon, Friday, April 15th, 2011, as the show opens at 2 p.m.<br />
